‘Michelin Guide’ proudly presents the first global selection of hotels under the ‘MICHELIN Key’ award, with 2,457 hotels worldwide recognized as truly outstanding places to stay. After launching this award in 15 destinations last year, inspectors from the ‘Michelin Guide’ evaluated over 7,000 hotels already recommended in the guide to select the best hotels for this year's listing.

The most outstanding hotels will receive MICHELIN Keys at levels 1, 2, or 3, which represent a new standard of excellence in accommodation. This award reflects the strict judging criteria of the ‘Michelin Guide’ to honor hospitality services that provide exceptional experiences in design, service, and location. Additionally, guests can book rooms at all selected hotels through the ‘Michelin Guide’ website and app, along with concierge services and various VIP privileges.

“The Michelin Guide has been a travel guide for over 125 years, and this time, it has redefined excellence once again in the hotel industry. Just like the MICHELIN Stars, which honor top restaurants worldwide, the ranking of MICHELIN Keys is a tribute to hotels that provide truly memorable experiences in design, service, and location, creating remarkable moments. Awarding the MICHELIN Key also establishes a new global standard that is not tied to any organization, presenting the ultimate accommodation experiences in outstanding hotels to people around the world,” said Mr. Gwendal Poullennec, Global Director of the ‘Michelin Guide’.
